The perfect blend of tradition and modernity, Tamra is a force for good, with each purchase supporting its grassroots foundation educating youth on consent through educational programs.

We partnered with Tamra to bring their vision to life, crafting a brand, packaging, and website that seamlessly blend ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with contemporary skincare needs. The result is a powerful, authentic presence that celebrates melanin-rich skin while supporting a mission to drive social impact through education and inclusivity.

Tamra stands boldly on social issues and needed a brand that truly reflected the strength, passion, and purpose of its mission.

Insight and idea

To stand out in the beauty industry and inspire confidence, particularly within South Asian communities, the brand needed to combine quality, purpose, and attitude.

This is where we come in โ€” translating their ethos into a vibrant identity inspired by Indian traditions, seamlessly blending traditional motifs with a modern and impactful presence.

We were driven to achieve the perfect balance of the products themselves, and to communicate not just the heritage of the brand, but the standalone quality of its products and formulations.

Tamraโ€™s new brand is an unapologetically Indian visual expression, embracing a vibrant colour palette and drawing from patterns and framing devices rooted in Indian culture and heritage.

Expression

The brand imagery was captured in a photography shoot commissioned with real women from ethnic backgrounds, celebrating melanin-rich skin in positive, authentic images. The typography was inspired by the calligraphic writing used in ancient Ayurvedic books for added authenticity and homage.

Tamraโ€™s brand represents a new beauty standard: not a dialling down, but a levelling up in courage, impact and appreciation of Indian-inspired beauty.
